Dhenu Dham Foundation is a devotional, service-driven, and compassion-based cow-welfare initiative associated with Dava Devi Foundation.
It works with the unified mission of protecting, healing, and nurturing India’s sacred Gau Mata through structured care, rescue operations, and sustainable cow-based development.
Built on the principle of “Go-Seva is Divine Duty,” Dhenu Dham Foundation aims to create a peaceful sanctuary where cows receive unconditional love, medical care, proper nutrition, and a safe environment to live with dignity.
Our Core Services & Responsibilities
Associated Cow Rescue & Rehabilitation
As a sister initiative under Dava Devi Foundation, Dhenu Dham Foundation rescues:
- Abandoned cows
- Accident-injured cows
- Sick & neglected cows
- Cows suffering on streets or from abuse
Each rescued cow is brought to a safe shelter where she receives medical care, food, and emotional healing.
Health Checkups & Medical Support
In association with Data Swami Ram Gau Hospital (another unit of Dava Devi Foundation), every cow receives:
- Regular medical checkups
- Disease diagnosis
- Medication & first-aid
- Emergency treatment
- Referral for surgeries when required
Special cases are treated directly by the hospital’s veterinary team
Nutrition, Clean Shelter & Daily Care
Dhenu Dham Foundation ensures:
- Fresh fodder & clean water
- Mineral supplements
- Proper resting spaces
- Clean sheds
- Soft bedding
- Shade & protection from heat or rain
The aim is to provide cows a peaceful life free from suffering.
Cow-Based Sustainable Development
